Description: The Swing-Latch Collection utilizes an ingenious swinging cover to allow for easy removal of the rod for cleaning and runner maintenance. With its 1/2" diameter solid core brass rod and appropriately scaled barkets and finials, the Swing-Latch Collection compliments every stair runner. The protective lacquer coating resists tarnishing. Each stair rod set consists of four rod, eight finials, eight brackets and installation screws. The rod must be 1" longer than the width of the runner to allow the rod to slide into each bracket. Rods can easily be cut to a shorter size with a hack-saw by the installer. Stair rods are for decorative use only. The runner must be secured by another means of installation.
