Q: Tell us about your home! Who do you live with, and what do you love about spending time in your home?
A: I live in a 950 square-foot condo with my husband and our tabby cat. The layout of our home is open with plenty of natural light, so even as a small space it feels bright and airy. My favorite time of day in our home is the late afternoon because of how the sunlight hits. It always feels like some of the outside is peeking in. I love curling up with a good book and hot coffee during this time of day. Feeling the warmth of the sunshine in my cozy space is the perfect way to unwind!
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I find it hard to describe my style because it’s always evolving. I feel that the aesthetic I’m drawn to changes and grows with me. Generally, l love to keep things simple and cozy and tend to incorporate a mix of elements from modern, Scandinavian, and contemporary design. I gravitate towards neutral and earthy tones with accents of greenery to create organic and calming spaces.
Q: What rug do you have from Rugs USA? Why did you pick it and what made it right for the space?
A: I have the Shaggy Double Helix with Tassels rug and it is by far my favorite rug in my home! I chose this rug for its simplicity and soft texture. It complements the natural tones in my bedroom perfectly and is just so cozy! I’m so impressed by the quality and design—I can’t wait to get more rugs from Rugs USA for other rooms in my home.
Q: What do you feel like rugs bring to a space and to a home?
A: Adding a rug is an easy and affordable way to elevate a space. To me, rugs help bring a space together and create a “finished” look. They add warmth, comfort, and texture and make any room feel cozy and comfortable.

Q: Tell us about your home! Who do you live with, and what do you love about spending time in your home?
A: My husband and I purchased our very first home about two years ago and we’ve been decorating it ever since. We share the space with our 10-year-old Australian shepherd, Charlie, and we like to think he loves this house just as much as we do. Being the homebodies that we are, we cherish every moment we get to spend in our house, whether we’re cooking, watching TV, working on a DIY project, or even cleaning and organizing. It’s truly our safe haven.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: We like our house to feel inviting, interesting, and lived-in, so we often gravitate toward eclectic designs. To make our house feel like a home, we try to bring each of our personalities into the interior design of every space. Our style is reflected in a mix of our favorite things (from sports memorabilia to plants), as well as patterns, textures, and colors that all play off each other.
Q: What rug do you have from Rugs USA? Why did you pick it and what made it right for the space?
A: Our dining space truly wasn’t complete until we purchased this Striped Tasseled rug in gray from Rugs USA. We were looking for a piece that would play off the colors and patterns already present in our space. What made this rug right was the much needed warmth, depth, and modern flair it added to our dining space without dominating an entire room.
Q: What do you feel like rugs bring to a space and to a home?
A: Without rugs, I think any home would never feel truly complete. Rugs give us an opportunity to have fun and get creative with interior design. Whether you want your rug to be a statement piece or simply anchor and compliment your furniture, there’s a rug out there that can serve each purpose. Sometimes just by switching your rug, you can change the entire vibe of the room! And perhaps one of the most compelling arguments: Pets are much happier when there’s a cozy rug on the floor… It’s a fact!

Q: Tell us about your home! Who do you live with, and what do you love about spending time in your home?
A: We live in a small Colonial-style home near Detroit that was built in the 1950s. My husband, one-year-old daughter, and I enjoy spending time together in our quaint living room playing games and dancing to our favorite songs. This is where my daughter took her first steps and said her first words, so it is a special place for us.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Throughout the years I have collected a number of pieces for our home from all across the United States in the various places we have lived. I am drawn to traditional and midcentury modern styles. I have enjoyed learning how to balance the contrast between light and dark colors in our home.
Q: What rug do you have from Rugs USA? Why did you pick it and what made it right for the space?
A: We featured the Moroccan Tasseled rug in off white in our living room. I felt that bringing in a lighter colored rug with some pattern would brighten up our darker space. I have always been a fan of tassels, so this one in particular really jumped out at me! I love how soft and comfortable it is.
Q: What do you feel like rugs bring to a space and to a home?
A: I am a huge fan of rugs and a firm believer in them! I have at least one or two rugs in every room of our home. Adding a rug to any space can bring life and character. Not only does it provide warmth and comfort, but it can be the perfect finishing touch to a design.

Q: Tell us about your home! Who do you live with, and what do you love about spending time in your home?
A: I live with my husband and four amazing children, and we absolutely love spending time in our living room relaxing and having game nights with the family. I also love having a beautiful tranquil space to relax in and enjoy at the end of a long day! We also love our dining room for our amazing family dinners together.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I would say my design style is a mix of styles. I love collecting thrifted finds and creating DIYs in my home. I also love collecting cool objects from nature and bringing them into my home. I would say I lean boho, a little eclectic, and a little mid-century modern.
Q: What rugs do you have from Rugs USA? Why did you pick them and what made them right for the space?
A: I have three beautiful rugs from Rugs USA in my home that I love so much. I have the Diamond Geometric rug in my living room, which is excellent quality and amazing in my space! I also have the Coronet Medallion rug in my dining room, which we absolutely love. And I also have a 3’ x 5’ Handwoven Jute Ribbed Solid rug in natural in my kitchen. The reason I picked these rugs is because they flow perfectly with the boho aesthetic in my home and really brighten up my spaces and make them cozy!

A: I feel rugs, especially Rugs USA, bring warmth and texture to your home, and pattern and visual interest to any space. Rugs bring your home alive!

Q: Tell us about your home! Who do you live with, and what do you love about spending time in your home?
A: Home is my absolute favorite place—it is where I recharge, where I am the most comfortable, and it is also pretty great because of who I share it with! My hubs and I have three precious kiddos ages 11, 6, and 3; one pup Max; two cats Poncho and Lefty; and eight chickens. We live smack dab in the middle of a pretty large city but have made our own little slice of heaven. We found our home just after we were first married—almost 15 years ago—and fell in love with the area. Over the years we have added on twice and bought the lot next to our home so we now have almost two acres. We love to garden and entertain—the more the merrier, always.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I have always loved all things home. I can remember rearranging furniture in my house growing up with my mom just to mix things up. I would describe my home as a modern cottage. I LOVE visiting antique stores and finding the perfect piece for our home. I am also always drawn to creating interest through collections and unique pieces. I love the lived-in look and being comfortable. As soon as anyone comes to our home I want them to be thinking about when they can come back.
Q: What rugs do you have from Rugs USA? Why did you pick them and what made them right for the space?
A: Over the years we have used so many rugs in our home from Rugs USA. I know the quality is always wonderful for an awesome price. I love creating a room around a rug and it’s almost instant gratification for how quickly you receive it! I love how all the rugs I have purchased have held up through all our people and animals. They are super easy to clean and just beautiful.
The Tasseled Medallion rug in rust is in our youngest’s bedroom, even though it would look beautiful in any room! I love how the colors tie everything together and give it that homey, lived-in look. It is so important to me for my kids to love their spaces and this rug just seals the deal.
Q: What do you feel like rugs bring to a space and to a home?
Rugs hands down make a space. I love creating design boards for friends and I always start with the rug—it’s the heart of the room. Rugs set the tone and the mood for the space you are living in. A rug brings that cozy feeling that is so important—it just makes you want to slip your shoes off and relax on the sofa. A good rug brings together all your pieces and for me, turns a house into home.
