A Modern Rug for the Living Room
Q: [I’m looking for a rug that’s] modern, 9×12 or larger, low pile, and patterned but not floral. Washable would be nice too! I’m looking to update my living room rug. My Moroccan Trellis has served us well for nearly 6 years! I’m always on the lookout for a new one but also have a severe case of indecisiveness. Which rug would you suggest to go with my neural decor? –@fitz_thedood

A: We feel you on the indecisiveness—there are SO many rugs out there to choose from! Here’s what we’re thinking would work well in your living room.
Washable rugs are a great option—especially since you have a pup! We think the Tribal Mosaic Washable rug would add pretty pattern to the space, as would the Rhea Wool Washable rug (as seen in @fitz_thedood’s room here with our View in Room tool) from our newly launched washable wool collection.
If you had something more neutral in mind, take a look at all the amazing texture to be found in our Jute Wavy Chevron With Tassel rug and the Jute Braided Saturn Border rug in off-white.
And since you love a Moroccan look, we think you can’t go wrong with our Argyle Trellis rug in gray and Diamond Pinstripes rug.

An Outdoor-Friendly Rug for the Porch
Q: Outdoor rug for a front porch—looking for a budget friendly rug for this area. –@radjbo

A: We have a ton of outdoor rugs to choose from, and think so many would be an amazing pick for your front porch. Here are a few of our faves!
Want to bring some Moroccan vibes to your alfresco space? Check out the Native Stripes Indoor/Outdoor rug along with the Moroccan Diamonds Indoor/Outdoor rug, both of which have chic, geometric patterns that are sure to make your porch pop.
Looking for simple and solid? Try the Solid Braided Indoor/Outdoor rug in any color, or the Indoor/Outdoor Gris Border rug, which sports a nice border outline for added dimension.
And if you’re into a classic stripe, we’ve got you too, with our Regency Stripes Indoor/Outdoor rug (shown above in blue on @radjbo’s patio with our View in Room tool) or the Multi Selena Braided Indoor-Outdoor rug.

A Traditional Rug for a Historic Home
Q: We are looking for a 10×12 rug for our living room. We have a 97 year old home, and want to keep the traditional cottage style/farm style theme of the house. –@austinnmooree

A: We absolutely love a farmhouse/cottage style theme for a home, especially when paired with beautiful, historic bones. And luckily, we have a ton of rugs we think will work great in your space!
If you’re feeling neutrals, our Amina Jute Tasseled rug in off-white and Sutton Solid Chevron rug are certain to add lovely texture underfoot, while popping against the darker hardwood flooring.
If something with subtle pattern is more your speed for this space, check out our Floral Ornament rug in ivory or the Fading Floral Fringe rug in ivory—both gorgeous picks that will add the slightest hint of print.
For a more traditional take—and for more color—take a look at our Native Collage rug (seen above in @austinnmooree’s room with our View in Room tool) or the very chic Eldorado rug in beige.

A: Vintage vibes? With blue? Say no more—we have a ton of great rugs in this combination. Here’s what we’re thinking!
For something a little more saturated, our Tracce Vintage Castle Medallion rug (pictured above) and Distressed Persian rug in dark blue make beautiful picks that will set a bold tone in your space.
For a medium-tone blue rug, check out the Winged Cartouche rug and the Shaded Medallion Fringe rug—both classics that will bring in that traditional feel you’re looking for.
And on the lighter end of the spectrum, the Fading Token rug and Florid Dreams rug in blue are certain to add a subtle but striking appeal to your room.

A Rug to Match Green Velvet
Q: [I’m looking for a] rug that will go with emerald green velvet chairs and a cognac leather couch in the living room. –@mia.e.emery
A: What a lovely color and material combo! Thanks to its bright jewel-toned nature, emerald green goes with so many different hues and styles. We think these picks will be sure winners in your living room!
Add natural texture with our Honeycomb rug in ivory and Handwoven Jute Ribbed Solid rug, which will bring in a layer of pattern without actually incorporating a busy pattern.
We’re also loving the traditional elegance our Gothic Rosette Medallion Tassel rug in gray (shown in the image above), and our Speckled Vintage rug in gold would bring to your space.
Ready for some major color? The Mardin Regal Clover rug in pink or the Sivas Fringe rug in red would be just right!
