Was not sure about modern day shag as an option today because of what we remember from the 70's shag in our parents home. However it was just what we wanted in feel and comfort. So so plush and comfy. Was also please how easy it vacuumed - we just love it!

This rug is even prettier than the picture. The colors are vibrant, rich and homey; perfect for autumn! My rug is placed in the foyer as you come through the front door and it's non-skid backing is appreciated. It's pile is low enough where it doesn't get stuck while opening the door. I love my new rugs for the front door and kitchen of my condo. Lovely pattern and colors that won't easily show dirt of droppings. The 2'x5' rug is great in front of the sink. Great purchase.
