This is a great rug. The one I ordered is definitely black/grey. Maybe little high/lowlights of brown- but not overly brown. It went in my husbands office/study and he loves it. Nice pile, good finishing.
Have the red version and it has some "pop" in addition to the muted design. Use in a space with fairly high traffic shared with pets. So far so good on not overly showing effects of use and wear. The rug is as described and a good option within its construction and price range. We have the largest size and only negative comment is that it is not a true rectangle so lies slightly off-kilter. Lined up the side where skew would be most obvious. Have gotten used to off-ness of the rest and do not think it is obvious to others. I very much liked blue-green option but, alas, it would not do with existing colors in room so took a leap of faith on the red and am not disappointed.
Got the red version, which is lighter and more colorful than the website's image. It is a dusty berry/brick color rather than a deep red. The designs include portions of deeper red, dark slate grey, midnight blue, and a copper brown. I am happily surprised that it's not all dark red with black accents-- I like it more than what I thought I bought! Fibers are relatively stiff, but softer than our existing carpet.
I think this rug is beautiful. The online image is very true to the actual product. I am using it in my bedroom and love the fun "pop" of teal it brings to the space. Definitely the highlight of the entire room. Great rug for a great price and delivery was timely. I am using a thicker rug pad underneath to boost the "plush."
We purchased this rug for our dining room. We love the color, the size and the price, however, it is not as soft as we had hoped for a high traffic area. A thicker pad will help with the 'plush' factor just as is is fairly thin and hard.
This is not an actual faded persian rug. It's low pile and looks pixelated and very much machine-made up close. That being said, I love the turquoise color and the fact that it's so easy to vacuum. I'm using it in our kid's playroom and I think it's great. It lies very flat and we didn't even use a slipmat underneath it since we bought such a large size and it's heavy enough to stay in place on a hardwood floor.
I bought this rug in 3x5 for our foyer because of its durability and design. I love the vintage look but am extremely happy with the color. It is gorgeous. In fact, I plan to buy this same rug in the largest size because it is such a color/design statement. This rug just pops and makes the room go - yes! My only con is it is not the softest of rugs, but the basic effect more than makes up for it. With dogs and kids this rug is durable enough to take them all.
This rug is beautiful and the colour is exactly as described and shown. We received within a week by UPS and the delivery to Canada was quick and the cost was reasonable. We are so happy with the 8x10 that we ordered the runner and it should be delivered today...can't wait! If you are thinking of buying a rug with a pop of colour this would be the one to get!
love love love this rug! It's a beautiful turquoise color NOT the peacock color that is popular right now It has a bit more of the vine in the design than I thought but it it doesn't stand out The turquoise is classy and pops It makes a statement in the room It goes so well with my modern brown tweed furniture in both a modern and vintage way at the same time . Who knew you could have it all! I did put a 7-16ths rug pad under it to cushion it- it is not a thick rug No shedding and doesn't show any pet hair I have 2 dogs and a cat inside and you would never know it looking at this rug So happy with this purchase!
Love this rug. We actually have it on carpet (apt carpeting is the worst and we needed to add character to the room). I'd say that the detail isn't as fine as in the image, but it's still fantastic. Would look great on wood floors.
The color is vibrant but not overwhelming. The turquoise brightens the stressed rustic furniture which has tones of blue, coral and white. Man of the house even said, "WOW!" Rug does have a tendency to shed fibers. I'm hoping it is due to being new. If it keeps shedding it will be a problem. Being synthetic, I would think it would be very durable for the high traffic living room.
