We just received our rug a few days ago and when I first laid the rug out I initially thought I was sent the wrong rug. The rug is pretty but it isn’t as muted as it looks in the picture online. It is way more blue and green and less brown. It is also much more of an Aztec rug and not a Persian transitional rug. If you have a transitional styled home from then this rug isn’t for you. The rug does seem to be nice quality and I do like that it is washable.
Slightly thinner than I would have hoped, but so soft and pretty. The coloring is a little lighter, almost peach and ivory, but beautiful non the less.
This is an awesome rug and an
amazing deal! After reading other
reviews I was worried about two
things: the smell and comfort
(walking on it). So I'll address
those two things. Yes - when you
first open it, it smells like grass.
But it only took two days for that
smell to dissipate for us. Comfort
- maybe we're weird, but we like
the feeling of it. It's not cushy
like a plush wood rug, but it feels
nice to walk on, just in a different
way. It's certainly not painful like
other reviews mention. My 2.5
year old immediately was running
circles on it in bare feet, the baby
was fine crawling on it, and one
of our dogs curled up for a nap
the day we laid it out. We do
have a thick rug pad underneath
it so that might help some. All in
all, very impressed with the rug
and the price!
I was sent this rug to restyle my balcony for the RugsUSA spring campaign. This is the perfect outdoor rug for my small balcony. The dimensions were exactly what I needed (3'6"x5') and the pattern is great. It covers the entire balcony and takes it from drab to fab! I highly recommend a rug for any outdoor space as it grounds the space. The rug seems very durable and looked exactly as it did on the website.
