It's a super soft rug, no weird smells and it looks great. The backing is very thick. I personally didn't use a rug pad because I'm layering this on top of another rug. I've noticed a lot of people complaining that the rug can't be vacuumed so I clean it with a lint roller. It works really well albeit a tad time consuming. That being said, the only reason I gave this 4 stars and not 5 is because I've really not had this rug that long at all, only 2-3 weeks now. It's sitting underneath my baby's swing so it's not the most high traffic area but it does see some action. It's held up so far but due to some previous reviews I'm anticipating some durability issues

This rug is even more beautiful in person. It was perfect to place over a jute rug in our nursery.

Rug is a nice option for faux sheepskin. Just had a new walk-in closet done, and this was the finishing touch.

Didn't really love the color it's definitely more a cream color. I was worried about returning it but it was pretty easy othe than the shipping cost to send it back.

Great quality! I love this rug. If it is put on a hardwood floor it most likely will need a rug pad underneath.

no smell. super soft. perfect for my daughter's room. does not shed. does not scratch hardwood floors. slides a bit but we don't mind. love this rug! i bought the bigger one in white for the nursery and if i could get one for every room of my house i would.

SO freaking beautiful! so soft and nice! I got it on sale for $42 and can't believe the quality. I'm like still in shock. LOL
