I had to take a chance on this rug as there were no reviews, and I am so happy that I did. The photos do not show how amazingly soft this rug is, it's like silk. My 20 month old has been laying on it since we got it making "snow angels". It's divine. I will say that it is not plush or thick, we got a rug pad to go under it. The texture of the rug isn't outstanding, though it's pretty cute. I was nervous about polka dots but I guess it works if your walls are white!
