I am someone who takes the time to read reviews and I try to consider all opinions before making a decision. I spent time reading the pros & cons of a rug made of Jute. I knew in advance to expect a slightly strong odor. Unfortunately, due to rain & cold weather I wasn't able to air it out outdoors. I think that would've helped. I did sprinkle baking soda on it and that has helped some. I Love the rug. I love the look and the chunky loop is very comfortable to me. I knew it wasn't a soft plush rug, yet, it isn't uncomfortable to me. It has a massaging feel. My research told me that the Jute was good for allergies because it hinders dust mites. I am very satisfied with the rug and delivery was prompt. My vacuum is pretty powerful and I think I'll research one that isn't. The direction say not to use a vacuum with a brush roller. It does pull at the loops. I simply push any areas back thru with my finger. No big deal! A vacuum with just a hose feature should do the trick. As far as the odor: I'm the type that will endure something like that if I Love the item. (Ladies) It's like wearing that uncomfortable pair of shoes until they are broken in, simply, because they look GREAT with the outfit!!! ???? I will definitely be purchasing another rug in the future.

I spent months looking for the perfect rug for our bedroom; not bright white, a cream or an ivory but with no super yellow undertones. And this fit the bill! I was nervous ordering based on other photos as some looked brown, some looked ivory and some looked yellow, so I attached a few here all in natural midday light to hopefully be of help to someone else finding themselves in my predicament! As you can see, up close it is brown but as you get further away it all fades into a beautiful ivory/khaki color. This rug is also super pliable and soft - I've ordered 5 rugs from RugsUSA and this one is by far the softest!

The tugs colors are gorgeous and the size is perfect. Only thing that I don't like is that their are some pieces sticking up where they are knitted together instead of neatly woven. I had to "trim" a few of them down. It also makes me concerned that if snagged the wrong way the piece could be pulled and create a whole, but that's still too soon to say. Otherwise it looks terrific and I love the material. Fingers crossed we have no problems.

I purchased this for my son's room and we love it. I love the texture of the jute and denim and how it all works together in the rug.

This rug is a beautiful cream color and makes our room feel so warm. I needed a rug that was durable because it's in our living room, but I also didn't want an uncomfortable rug. It's a perfect combination of soft and durable.

It's softer than it looks. I love it. Saw it first on the Door Sixteen blog and couldn't be happier.

This rug is nice! It looks great in my dining room. My style is rustic/farmhouse so it fits with my decor. My only complaint is that the rug is very stiff but maybe it will wear in a little bit over time.

Used this rug over a bamboo floor in the dining area. Looks great, laid flat easily- and now hoping it withstands heavy beach traffic this summer!

Ordered this rug last minute and could not be happier. Would re-order in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.
