Very soft, no smell on arrival, has not shed. Ordered the baby blue, which is subtle- there’s an even mix of white and blue fibers. Tassels are the bluest part of the rug, and the beehive pattern is white. Feels soft and cushy, plus we have it over a felt rug pad.
I had the fringe removed because it cheapens the rug and was way too bright of a blue. Now it is perfect and I love it!! Also it’s a little longer than 5ft even without the fringe.
this rug is a beauty and so much prettier in real life. We have dark floors and the rug just pops! I don't think it would be a wise choice for a high traffic area if you have young children.
This rug is beautiful. Looks very expensive and is perfect in my cream/brown/gray toned living room.
It's perfect! Exactly what we expected from the pictures and other reviews. Now the only problem is deciding which room to put it in because it would look great in all of them and we like it so much! Even though we ordered it for our bedroom, I think the room where it will be seen the most might just end up winning out! :)
Great for price. Great, soft texture (almost velvet like) Medium weight or thickness.
Stunning! I ordered 2 cow hide rugs for adjacent rooms. The patchwork rug is beautiful. Colors are a light cream just as pictured. 4 out of 5 stars because the rug has two flaws with stitching. I cut extra fabric off so it’s not a deal breaker. I also bought the cowhide Trellis rug. It is pretty but the gray is more like a felt type fabric with cowhide trellis (the entire rug isn’t cowhide). The patchwork rug is ALL cowhide.
The Rug arrived promptly and in great packing condition. Its beautiful!! was just as described and a truly great price! We will be ordering more from this great site! cheers!
This is a great rug. The colors are very neutral and it looks and feels great. even though the honeycomb pattern is white, it does not seem like it will show dirt easily since the overall rug color is grey. I used a rug pad underneath on top of my hardwood floor and I love it. Great purchase.
I've been eyeing this type of rug for years. Many of the high end show rooms at Chicago's Merchandise Mart have had similar rugs for thousands of dollars. I am slowly moving into a new apartment and this was the first item I brought to unpack. With that, I have not actually lived on this rug, so I am not sure how it holds up. However the construction and overall appearance seem to be very high quality. One thing that is difficult to see in the images provided is that the cream colored cross stitching that holds the pieces together is visible, but not glaring. The backing is a felt material.
Overall I think this rug is a beautiful neutral addition to our home. It’s more brown than I initially thought when I ordered it, but that worked ok for our room. It has a “greige” feeling to it instead of gray. I don’t think the rug is particularly soft- it feels more like a jute rug with wool mixed in. And I have noticed some pulls from my dog’s claws unfortunately. Overall I am happy- just want others to know these things.
