We all know that sometimes, less means more; and when it comes to home décor, the Oak Sisal Area Rug is a prime example, especially when curated with the eagle eye of celebrated interior designer and author Lauren Liess. Showcasing Lauren’s hallmark love of natural fibers and earth tones, Oak is more than just a woven sisal rug—it’s a tableau for your room, and a potential base layer for other rugs to come together in unique, sophisticated combinations. Experiment with the pieces within the Lauren Liess x Rugs USA collection and come up with your best style: try Oak on its own at the foot of the bed, or as a runner on either side; in the living room, layer it with a vintage-style rug, or even a cotton striped piece. The only limit is your imagination; once you have one Oak Sisal Area Rug, you’ll soon want it in every room.

Care Instructions

Caring for your natural fiber rug is simple:

  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For stubborn spots, spot clean by blotting with a mild detergent and allow rug to dry on a flat surface.

  • Shake dirt and debris out or hand vacuum on the lowest setting and without the beater bar.

  • Shedding of loose fibers is normal and will diminish over time with regular vacuuming. Sprouting is also normal, in which loose rug fibers poke up out of the rug surface. Simply snip loose fibers down to the surface of the rug.

  • Use a rug pad to prevent slipping and sliding. Rug pads protect both your floors and your rug from wear and tear, extending the life of your rug.
