Yes, you read that right: We make washable rugs made out of wool! Crafted from sustainably sourced, premium wool, they’re our softest and most plush offering when it comes to washables. Washable Stain-Resistant Rugs

All our washable rugs are great for rolling out in mess-prone spaces. But our stain-resistant styles are what you’ll want to turn to in areas that get especially dirty. Think under dining tables, in kitchens, in the entryway, and any space where red wine (or any other notorious hard-to-remove materials!) might be consumed. We upped the ante on our classic washable designs with this collection, crafting each piece from from sustainably-sourced, premium polyester yarns treated to be water and stain repellent. Easy-Jute Washable Rugs

With this collection, you get all the convenience of our washable rugs and the beauty of jute styles—without all that pesky shedding! We’re seriously obsessed with our easy-jutes, which offer the natural look of real jute rugs, but are instead made with GRS-certified, recycled polyester fibers that look just like the real thing. Add them to any space you would add a jute rug, and let go of worrying about spills, stains, shedding, and mildew!

Washable Shag Rugs

If you want to sink your feet into something soft and sumptuous, it doesn’t get any better than shag rugs. Unfortunately, shag rugs are known for holding onto dirt and other messes, and can become grimy over time if not properly cared for or if rolled out in a place with lots of action. Enter our washable shag rugs, which offer all the plushness of non-washable shags, plus the convenience of being (you guessed it!) washable.

How to Use and Care for Your Washable Rugs

It couldn’t be easier to add our washable rugs to your space. In fact, most of ours have a convenient no-slip backing and one-piece design, meaning you don’t have to worry about attaching yours to a pesky base layer (like some of our competitors).

Aside from that, the care instructions are simple: Once you see a spot on your rug, roll it up and place it in the washer with your favorite mild detergent (no bleach!) on a gentle cycle. When it’s done, tumble dry in your dryer without heat or on an air-only cycle, or hang it to dry by draping over railing or elevating between two surfaces. Either way, be sure your rug is completely dry before laying it back down. Once it’s dry, roll it back out in its original spot, and your space is good as new!
