I was expecting a little bit better quality in this rug. The rug looks two tone on-line, but has several bright colors within. Great design though.
I didn't like the carved accents either.

The colors are bolder, cleaner, richer, and less muted than they appear onscreen. The Cocoa rug is a bit darker than it appears onscreen. The wool is soft and dense; the tufted yarns are silky & fine (not coarse, as some India-made rugs are), with a very high rate of tufts per square inch. This rug has a carved, slightly 3D surface that is very handsome & adds to the boldness of the design. A beautiful rug with a strong Arts & Crafts look.

The colors in this rug are rich and the design is bold. The colors online are fairly accurate, but there is a beautiful tiny accent of turquoise which is not evident. The other colors are brown, gold, off white, and russett. Some of the designs are carved into the rug, giving a three dimensional feel. The wool is soft and comfortable to walk on. I am extremely pleased.
