The colors are a little brighter then it looked online. Also so far the carpet has shed a lot, it's a less quality then I was expecting. It's a fun rug for our playroom.

They are a bit out of the box for area rugs which is why I love them so much. Great quality and the customer service at RugsUSA is exceptional. The rug is also soft, it flattened out quickly, and it doesn't have a strong odor. This one sits on carpet, and so it doesn't need any extra pad.

Think we'll keep the rug, but the palette is not as dark and sophisticated as we thought from the photo. It's generally more pink and less violet than hoped - the background color is sort of a brownish plum and the palest spots are pale purple, tan, and a pinkish lilac. Looks nice from across the room but the contouring looks a little cheesy up close. The backing seems well-done and I'm generally happy with the manufacturing quality as of delivery, but if your aesthetic standards are very high, you may not be wholly satisfied with the design in person.

I ordered the purple rug and thought it would be a deep purple but instead it was a light plum. For example, the light brown areas that appear in the picture are actually pink. Disappointed :(

It also offsets the too traditional look of my beige sofa. The better part is - got it when it was 6o% off. I'm a happy camper!

RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.I really love the way this rug looks and feels. Colors, texture, and thickness are all great. The only bummer was the smell. Not an unusual smell, but rather a strong "new rug" smell. My 5 year old had a reaction to this (itchy red eyes). I imagine that over time the smell will recede, but it isn't worth it to me to keep the rug just in case it continues. HOWEVER, I will be exchanging the rug since I've had a really had a good experience with Rugsusa.com and their prices are great.

This rug is made of mod-acrylic but looks and feels like wool, without the shedding. I am using it on a hardwood floor and am pleased to see that the backing of this rug is actually soft, not scratchy like lots of rugs, I haven't decided wether or not to use a pad with it, I don't feel that it even needs it as there is not much traffic where this rug is placed. I love Rugs Usa, this rug was shipped quickly and I think their customer service is excellent. I definitely plan to buy from them again for other rooms in my house.

It looks great with my lilac walls and oak floor. It's nice and cushy for the feet. Thick and comforting. Good quality.It's just what I ordered. Good thing too because no reciept came with it. It's hard to pick items online,but the graphic of the rug was spot on so,all and all a good decision on my part. Good website.

The colors in the purple rug were excellent. Better than I could have hoped for. The only thing is that after being rolled up in plastic the rug kind of had a weird smell but it did go away after a couple of days.
