Care Instructions

Caring for your natural fiber rug is simple:

  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For stubborn spots, spot clean by blotting with a mild detergent and allow rug to dry on a flat surface.

  • Shake dirt and debris out or hand vacuum on the lowest setting and without the beater bar.

  • Shedding of loose fibers is normal and will diminish over time with regular vacuuming. Sprouting is also normal, in which loose rug fibers poke up out of the rug surface. Simply snip loose fibers down to the surface of the rug.

  • Use a rug pad to prevent slipping and sliding. Rug pads protect both your floors and your rug from wear and tear, extending the life of your rug.
