- Clean & Care: Vacuum regularly as new wool rugs can shed yarn fibers for up to three months. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Do not pull loose ends, clip them with scissors to remove. Clean liquid spills immediately by blotting with cloth or sponge. For hard to remove stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended.
I ordered this rug for my living room, but when I opened the package, it was a little smaller than specified. The first couple of days it had a funky smell, but it went away. I put it in my bedroom, where it fits beautifully next to my bed, and i am buying a second one for the other side. It has some yellowish strides on the fur, however i noticed that it was a normal effect of the fur. It is thick, soft and beautiful and it hasn't shed as I thought it would ! The backing of the rug works great, I don't need to buy a backing for it; however it is not in a high traffic area such as a living room or family room. Overall great purchase. Lovely rug!

I really like this rug. Very soft and thick. Would have given it a 5 but it isn't quite the size listed.

We wanted a rug we could put by the fire place so we could lay down on it if we wanted. Perfect for this! My husband thought it was a little "smelly", but it airs out fine and the smell goes away.

I have a smaller one that I have had for years. To clean it I used the washer and dryer without a problem. It has turned a creamy color but that is probably due to age. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!

In case anyone is wondering, the backing is not the actual skin.. :)it is a flannel feeling tan fabric that is quilted- w/ some some padding in there to make this rug thick and soft. It has a bit of a smell, but I just hung the rug up in the sunroom for a few days and it went away. Also, this rug will need a no-slip pad.

I had always wanted one and after getting the first, I loved it and had to order another for a seperate room. Both rugs were on sale but the second was even cheaper than the first. I love them both!
THE RUG IS SOFT, LUSH, AND HUGE. MY SON AND I ARE THRILLED! I BOUGHT 1 BIG ONE FOR ME AND 1 SMALL ONE FOR MY 7 YEAR OLD CHILD AND WE LIKE TO LAY ON IT TO DO HOMEWORK AND READ. VERY COMFY AND COZY.

These 2 rugs are greats, so soft and beautiful. i plan to remodel the guest bedroom, so i will ordered these rugs again as well. i highly recommend them.

Make sure you read the measurements. The rug pictured is two put together (good thing I figured this out first, or I would have been very disappointed!) Also, my rug isn't quite as white as the one pictured...mine is more off-white, but doesn't have any yellow spots at least. A plus is that the rug is very thick and warm. It is very plush and pretty soft. Overall, I am happy with it.

RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.Great sheepskin, although I think look at the different colored ones for the actual shape (I bought ivory). This one is four pelts sewn together, but the suture lines, so to speak, aren't as obvious as with some others--extremely soft and plush. Seemed a little smaller than 4x6, but that's ok.
