How to Find Your Just-Right Rug
Creating your custom rug may seem like a complex experience, but it's actually quite simple! We've laid it all out for you below to make the process as smooth as can be.
Need help deciding? Try our 12”x12” samples! Sit with them in your space to see which designs and textures speak to you, then hold them up to your furniture and décor to ensure your pick works with your one-of-a-kind style. Plus, our samples are an easy, approachable way to preview the ones you love before placing your full-size order.
Finalize your furniture layout, plan to position your rug so that all seating rests on it (this looks best!), then take measurements using a steel measuring tape for accuracy. Helpful Hint: When determining rug dimensions for a living room, we recommend leaving at least 12” to 18” between the edges of your rug and your walls. This is a good rule of thumb for most spaces, but for more tips on how to measure for other rooms, see our size guide.
If you ordered samples, scan the QR code on the back of your favorite one to learn more. If you're ready to dive in without samples, simply visit your favorite style's page. Once there, enter the exact dimensions for your rug, add it to your cart, and place your order.
