I had this rug in mind for our modern/ boho nursery and I love it. It's neutral enough it blends in well with the small space and busy feature wall but it isn't just boring plain jute. It has texture and pattern that add so much more to our space. I was worried it might be too scratchy for a nursery rug, but It's super soft too and my older kids have been playing and reading books on it happily. I also love that the bottom is sort of woven so it doesn't get dust and debris everywhere like other jute rugs I've had! Love it!
We have this beautiful rug in our living room, it is soft and makes the living area very cozy. The kids love walking around, that's how soft it is!
The texture and detail on this rug is so gorgeous. The color is a beautiful slate grey that compliments the jute perfectly. I haven't had any shedding with this rug and it is great under my dinning table!
Jute rugs can be iffy, but the quality and design of this was is great! I have this rug in my bedroom and it feels good on my feet when I get out of bed each day! The only thing to note is that this one NEEDS a rug pad on hard floors. I tried going without, but I was slipping and sliding everywhere.
Just what I expected. Lays flat right away. Has that burlap smell for a few days but it goes away. It's a little rough (again sort of rustic-burlappy) but totally fine to walk in. I put it in my entryway
The picture really doesn't do this rug justice. In fact, I passed by it a few times while looking for a rug. I'm so glad I took a chance on it. It is GORGEOUS and cannot be beat for the price. The white color in the herringbone pattern is very true white, and the brown color is a neutral that trends toward gold... I would call it a "straw" color. The rug is extremely soft. It's thin though, and moves easily - so you'll need a rug pad if you don't want it to slip.
Rugs arrived very fast. I ordered two 9'x12' rugs and I sewed them together to make 1 very large 12'x18' rug. One was 2" longer than the other but I put that part behind the sofa. I placed a 5'x8' colored rug over the seating area (helped to hide my sewing seam). There was no sand and minimal shedding - no worse my nice wool rugs. Very soft and feels great on bare feet. Some fibers are very thick while others are thin. Color looks just like the picture. For the two rugs, I spent a third of what only one of my favorite rugs would have cost. I've had these rugs several months and I'm happy with this purchase.
